These data present a processed bathymetric elevation model </SPAN><SPAN>(1 </SPAN><SPAN>m resolution) of the region surveyed during hydrographic survey HS5</SPAN><SPAN>3</SPAN><SPAN> - </SPAN><SPAN>Kawau Island</SPAN><SPAN>.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Survey HS5</SPAN><SPAN>3</SPAN><SPAN> was undertaken by Discovery Marine Limited (DML) on behalf of Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) for hydrographic charting purposes. This grid has been subsequently reprocessed by Taihoro Nukurangi - NIWA to undertake BTM analysis and to remove shoal-biasing artifacts.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Shoal-biased processing</SPAN><SPAN> is</SPAN><SPAN> required for hydrographic charting purposes, however, these features may not be indicative of true seabed geomorphology and may impact subsequent geoprocessing.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
