 "description": "<DIV STYLE=\"text-align:Left;\"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Using multibeam echosounders, it is possible to survey expansive regions of the seafloor with increasing degrees of detail.<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>These data present a processed bathymetric elevation model (1 m resolution) of the region surveyed during hydrographic survey HS5<\/SPAN><SPAN>4<\/SPAN><SPAN> - <\/SPAN><SPAN>Tamaki Strait<\/SPAN><SPAN>.<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>Survey HS5<\/SPAN><SPAN>4<\/SPAN><SPAN> was undertaken by <\/SPAN><SPAN>iXSurvey (now iXBlue) <\/SPAN><SPAN>on behalf of Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) for hydrographic charting purposes.<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>This grid has been subsequently reprocessed by Taihoro Nukurangi - NIWA to undertake BTM analysis and to remove shoal-biasing artifacts.<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>Shoal-biased processing is required for hydrographic charting purposes, however, these features may not be indicative of true seabed geomorphology and may impact subsequent geoprocessing.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
